More Sunflowers....

This was quick watercolor that I painted while sitting in on a forty five minute Senior Citizens Watercolor Workshop at the Gallery. Needless to say the subject was sunflowers, which is one of my favorite flowers to paint.
My friend Sara led the workshop and I thought she did an amazing job with so little time to work with. She had a large class of students, some with experience and those who were new to watercolor.

May. 14th, 2013 11:41 amGot this lovely bouquet that had pretty sunflowers in it. Every time I walked by, I thought to myself, I have to photograph them and then maybe paint them.
So I finally did photograph the whole bouquet and all the sunflowers separately.
Then I couldn't wait to paint them.
