Another landscape painting

This week at watercolor class I gave a demo creating the same washes on three kinds of paper, hot press, cold press, and rough. I wanted to show the differences in how they dried on the paper. The students practiced painting washes on coldpress paper and finishing up work from last week.

Below the top one is rough, then cold, and hot press.



I seem to have less time to paint for myself, but I managed to finish a new painting that I may enter the Spring Show at the Gallery.
